Fees are assessed at intake based on your individual situation. The following options are available:

Counselling

  • Fully Funded ($0) — for those who meet eligibility criteria
  • Low Cost — $100 per session
  • Full Private — $150 per session

Health Coaching

  • Fully Funded ($0) — for those who meet eligibility criteria
  • Full Private — $80 per session

Events

Event pricing varies. Payments may be made in full at the time of booking, or via monthly instalments, with all payments completed prior to the event date (final payment due the month before the event).

Eligibility for Funded Sessions

To access fully funded counselling or health coaching, you must:

  • Reside in West Auckland Waitākere, Aotearoa
  • Identify as wāhine / woman or rangatahi / youth aged 12–24
  • Experience financial hardship as a barrier to accessing private support

Those outside the eligibility criteria may still access sessions at the full private rate. Contact us for any questions.

Payment Options

For counselling and health coaching, payment is due at the time of each session. For events, payments may be made in full at booking or via monthly instalments, with all amounts settled prior to the event date.

WINZ Support

If you're on a WINZ benefit, Work and Income may help fund your counselling — contributing $77 per session for up to 10 sessions, paid directly to you. You can then choose to either top up the remaining amount to cover the full session fee, or attend fortnightly (using two WINZ payments together to cover one session). Please speak with us at intake to find out if this is an option for you.

Victim Support

Victim Support is a free, nationwide service for anyone impacted by serious crime or natural disasters. They help people access safety, recovery, and justice in the aftermath of traumatic events, whether caused by crime or disaster.

Cancellations, Refunds & Forfeiture

Counselling & Health Coaching Sessions

We ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a late cancellation fee
  • Non-attendance without notice (DNA) may be charged at the full session rate
  • Funded session places may be reviewed following repeated non-attendance

Events

Due to upfront costs and limited spaces, the following applies to event bookings:

  • Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances
  • Cancellations within 7 days of the event may not be eligible for any refund
  • No refunds may be issued once a booking is confirmed
  • Failure to attend or withdrawal results in forfeiture of place and the full amount remains payable

Transfers (Events)

You may transfer your event booking to another person, subject to prior approval from MindfulWell. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing prior to the event date.

Payment Responsibility

By booking any service with MindfulWell — whether a counselling session, health coaching appointment, or event — you agree to the relevant payment terms outlined above. For events where instalment plans apply, you remain responsible for completing all scheduled payments regardless of attendance or cancellation.
