MindfulWell® is in our foundation phase as a charitable trust, building accessible, trauma-informed emotional health and wellbeing services for wāhine, rangatahi, and whānau across Aotearoa.
We welcome expressions of interest from clinicians, wellbeing practitioners, volunteers and organisations who share our values of compassion, equity, cultural safety, trauma-informed practice, and community-centred care.
Contract Counsellors & Psychotherapists
We are seeking aligned practitioners to join our practitioner network and deliver counselling and psychotherapy under the MindfulWell name.
What we are looking for
Registered counsellors & psychotherapists (NZAC, PBANZ, DAPAANZ, etc.)
Students in recognised counselling/psychotherapy programmes (practising under supervision)
Requirements
Registration, or eligibility to register
Professional indemnity insurance
Supervision
Trauma-informed and culturally safe practice
Online delivery ability (in-person optional)
Alignment with MindfulWell kaupapa and ethics

Contract Health Coaches
MindfulWell welcomes trauma-aware health coaches who support emotional and whole-person wellbeing through gentle, evidence-informed, integrative approaches.
This role is suited to coaches who bridge lifestyle, mental health support, and nervous-system education (within scope), complementing clinical counselling pathways.
Who we're looking for
Qualified or emerging health coaches (recognised certification or training)
Integrative wellness or behaviour-change coaches
Practitioners aligned with trauma-informed and culturally safe care
Coaches confident working collaboratively in a mental-health-aligned setting
Requirements
Relevant training or recognised certification
Member of proffesional body*
Familiarity with trauma-informed approaches
Commitment to ethical, culturally grounded practice
Ability to practice within scope and seek supervision/mentoring as appropriate
Professional indemnity insurance
Online delivery ability (in-person optional)
