Catherine Perry

As a Child-Centred Play Therapist, I work alongside tamariki and their whānau to create safe, nurturing spaces where children feel empowered to express themselves, work through life’s challenges, and build emotional resilience. Grounded in the principles of child development, neuroscience, and attachment theory, my approach is warm, responsive, and deeply respectful of each child’s unique voice and experience.

I offer therapeutic support that honours the mana of tamariki and strengthens the relationships around them. I am committed to ongoing professional growth, regularly engaging in supervision and further education to deepen my understanding and refine my practice. It’s a privilege to walk alongside children and their families, supporting healing, fostering connection, and nurturing wellbeing.
