Amy Reis Williams
Amy Reis Williams is a mental health and addictions practitioner, counsellor and health coach, and the founder and director of MindfulWell®, created from a commitment to social justice, community wellbeing, and accessible mental health care. She believes everyone deserves compassionate, evidence-informed support that honours the whole person.
With experience across schools, hospitals, and crisis counselling, Amy brings a deep understanding of the systemic and personal factors shaping mental wellbeing. She works with women and youth navigating a wide range of needs, including complex trauma, anxiety, experiences of abuse, addiction, depression, neurodiversity, and disordered eating. Her practice integrates the Conversational Model of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, Adolescent Focused Therapy (AFT) for eating disorders, emotional regulation, mindfulness-based approaches, and polyvagal-informed somatic and body-based practice.
Amy has seen the barriers women, teens, and youth face in accessing holistic, compassionate care, and built MindfulWell® to help remove these barriers. Through workshops, retreats, and counselling, she provides spaces of safety, reconnection, and resilience-building.
A trauma-aware practitioner and facilitator, Amy is dedicated to care that is compassion-led and grounded in both clinical integrity and humanity. MindfulWell® reflects her core values of compassion, empowerment, equity, and community connection, supporting individuals to heal, grow, and thrive.
